๐ง Little Stars Plus 16: The Wiggly Person
A Make & Say lesson in the Body Moves unit of Little Stars Plus, a Pre-A1 English course for children aged 4 to 6. Children build a wiggly paper person from pre-cut card parts and name every part as it goes on: tummy, head, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, shoulders, hands, knees, feet and toes. A big Little Body picture shows each part first. Then the wiggly people come to life: children make them wiggle, jump, clap, stomp and turn around on command, first with the teacher and then in pairs. To finish, every wiggly person waves goodbye to Pip. Adults do all the cutting and pinning, and a sticky-tape version works for younger children and online lessons. With teacher tips, a cutting guide, a 30-minute version and a Star Check picture game for home.
