🔑 Grammar A2-10: Possessive pronouns

The tenth material of the Fleydo A2 grammar series, written for learners of roughly eight to twelve who already met my, your, his, her, its, our and their at A1. It teaches one decision and teaches it hard: look to the right of the gap, not at the owner. A noun follows, so the short word wins (my bag); nothing follows, so the long word wins (that bag is mine). The lesson gives the full seven-pair table, including the two odd cases — his, which does both jobs unchanged, and its, which has no long form at all — then a four-step procedure with two fully worked sentences, a side-by-side comparison with a written verdict, and a sorting task that turns the rule into a habit. Whose…? gets its own section with the natural answers English actually uses, and the apostrophe traps (its / it’s, whose / who’s, and the never-an-apostrophe rule) get their own section with a substitution test and four commit-first reveal cards.
