🏫 Little Stars 30: Big School Ready!

The My School Bag checkpoint of the Little Stars Compact 36 journey, staged as a pretend school so that nothing feels like a test. After the Hello routine with the puppet Pip and two rounds of the Command Song, with every command really done, the class builds a school corner together: a row of chairs, a low table, a bag hook and a box of real books, pencils and crayons, each prop carried in by one child while everybody names it twice. Pairs then rehearse the two halves of the game — three things named, three commands given and done — which is where the shy children are rescued, never in the game itself. In the Big School Game each child in turn is the pupil: they pack the bag naming three school things, follow three commands in a row, and then become the little teacher who commands the class for the next child. Everybody claps every single turn. A badge craft and a badge parade close the lesson, and the teacher plan carries the checkpoint list with two tick boxes per child — three object names, and command compliance — with the rule that ticks are made after the child sits down, never during the turn. Oral only: nothing is read or written at Pre-A1.
