🦵 Little Stars 11: Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes

A complete 45-minute teacher-led lesson that turns the most famous action song in the world into a whole My Body workout. After the fixed Hello Routine with the puppet Pip, the song is taught in three gears — slow motion first, then normal speed, then giggly-fast — because at this age the pointing is the language and the laugh at the end is the reward. Three new command words follow on big cards (hands, feet, tummy), each modelled as a gesture before the word is ever spoken, and then Pip runs a Simon-Says-lite round of “Touch your …!” in which nobody is ever eliminated: everyone plays on, so the input keeps flowing. A body-part freeze dance gets the whole room moving and stopping, and a giant floor puzzle — six large cut-outs laid on a body outline — brings the class back down, mirrored on screen so the children can see the body fill in as they name each part. A cool-down stretch and the Goodbye Song close the lesson. Nothing is read and nothing is written. The final teacher screen carries the minute-by-minute plan, the materials list, support and challenge notes, the 30-minute adaptation and the home connection.
