๐Ÿ“– Lesson A1 Writing๐Ÿ‘ซ People & Relationships

โญ Sunshine Club 2: My Life Book

A fully interactive A1.2 Kids writing lesson from the Sunshine Club 2 series (Lesson 67, My Life Project unit). This project-plan lesson recycles the whole A1 course. Children warm up with four prompts (say your name and age, one thing you like, one thing you can do, who is in your family). The Word & Pattern Focus shows the six-page book plan (Me, My family, My day, Hobbies, My year, I can) and a frames box for pages 1-2: My name is / I am + age / I like / I can for page 1, and I've got / She's got / He's got and character words for page 2. Ten key words (book, page, cover, name, family, mum, dad, sister, brother, favourite) appear in a scrollable table with 4-8 word definitions and examples, and six get review flashcards. The Reading Corner is 'Our Life Books' (about 92 words, lines of 4-9 words): Nina and Tom make their me-and-family pages, with six hover-tooltip words and a six-chip Word cards row (name, family, mum, dad, page, book). Practice gives 8 one-word fill-in-the-blank sentences (name, am, got, is, hair, me plus two 3rd-person -s forms likes and plays) with live green/red feedback and hints; Speaking is a share-your-plan pair activity with five prompts and a six-line model dialogue between Omar and Nina; the Writing task is the core product - draft page 1 (me) and page 2 (my family) with four frames, a four-step checklist, a live word counter (aim 15-30 words) and auto-save. An 8-question multiple-choice Sunshine Quiz, including two questions about the reading, with a progress bar, one-line explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence closes the lesson.
