📖 Lesson A1 Vocabulary🏠 Everyday Life

👕 Sunshine Club: Rainbow Clothes

A fully interactive A1.1 kids vocabulary lesson (ages 7-9) that extends the Clothes unit by combining colours with clothes words. Children warm up with four point-and-say actions, then study two simple pattern boxes: colour + clothes word order (a + blue + t-shirt, never "a t-shirt blue") and plural pairs with -s (two red socks = a pair; sock → socks, shoe → shoes) with a say-it-fast chip panel. A 10-row vocabulary table presents combos (a blue t-shirt, a red hat, a green jumper, a yellow dress, a pink skirt, red shoes, blue socks) plus pair, socks and shoes, and six get review flashcards. The tiny 80-word wash-day story "The Lost Red Sock" mirrors the classroom sock-pair matching game: Ela hunts for her missing red sock and finds a pair, with five hover word cards and a sight-word chip row. Practice offers 8 one-word fill-in-the-blanks (blue, socks, pair, are, has, green, shoes, like) with live feedback and hints. The speaking section is a combo-calling game with five prompts and a 6-line example dialogue; the frame-based writing task (10-20 words) prepares the homework of two colour + clothes lines about family; and an 8-question quiz with two story questions and saved score closes the lesson.
