🍳 Cooking with Mum
A fully interactive Pre-A1 vocabulary lesson for young learners aged 6–10. Students meet 10 kitchen words (wash, cut, mix, cook, pour, stove, pan, bowl, spoon, plate) through clickable emoji cards with text-to-speech. Imperative instructions (‘Wash the tomatoes’, ‘Cut the onion’) and sequencing words (‘First, Then, Next, Finally’) are introduced. A short story called ‘Nadia Makes Pancakes’ provides natural reading practice. Activities include flip flashcards, a matching game, 8 fill-in-the-blank sentences, speaking prompts, a recipe-writing task, and an 8-question quiz.
