⛵ The Girl Who Sailed Around the World

In 2010, a Dutch girl named Laura Dekker left the Netherlands on a small boat. She was only fourteen years old. She wanted to sail around the world alone. Many people said she was too young. The government tried to stop her. But Laura did not give up. She sailed for 518 days and became the youngest person to sail solo around the world.
