📖 Lesson A2 Speaking🎉 Fun & Culture

🎭 Explorers: The Dress Rehearsal

A fully interactive A2.2 Kids speaking lesson that runs the whole Key Showcase as a dress rehearsal, teaching no new grammar and instead recycling the full A2.2 course inside a real performance. Part 2 is a rehearsal toolkit in three blocks: The Programme Order (announcing the show with time connectors first/then/after that/before/finally), The Tech Check (testing the microphone, lights and props using have to, don't have to and mustn't), and Audience Questions (answering in calm full sentences across recycled tenses — past continuous, was/were short answers, going to, and because reasons). Ten show words (dress rehearsal, programme, microphone, props, stage, host, bow, nervous, calm, curtain) appear with definitions and examples, and six are reviewed as flashcards. The reading is a Showcase Diary in which Team Compass runs the whole show, survives a lights surprise and handles audience questions, with key words highlighted on hover. Practice offers eight fill-in-the-blank items recycling time connectors, past continuous, have to, mustn't, short answers, going to and lesson vocabulary, with live validation, hints and a score. The speaking section gives five prompts to host and run the show and a six-line model dialogue; the writing task is a 30-50 word Key Showcase invitation using going to and time words, with a four-point checklist and live word counter with auto-save; and the eight-question quiz mixes recycled grammar with two reading-comprehension questions, a progress bar, per-question explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence.
