✨ Sunshine Club 2: A Day with Grandpa
A fully interactive A1.2 Kids reading lesson from the Sunshine Club 2 series (Lesson 22, He & She 'Magic S' unit). Children warm up with four actions (meet Grandpa, ask a does-question, listen for the Magic S, say No! that is wrong). The Reading Focus is one clear box that teaches the correction strategy - a False chip ('He gets up at eight.') beside a Fix chip ('No! He gets up at six!'), three read/false/fix examples and a detective tips panel (read every line, find the wrong word, say No!, give the right answer). Ten key words (grandpa, garden, wake up, feed, tea, newspaper, walk, nap, dog, evening) appear in a scrollable table with 4-8 word definitions and third-person examples, and six get review flashcards. The Reading Corner tells 'A Day with Grandpa' (about 105 words, lines of 4-9 words): Ela visits her grandpa on Sunday and follows his whole routine, packed with third-person -s verbs - with six hover-tooltip words and a six-chip Word cards row (grandpa, garden, tea, newspaper, dog, nap). Practice gives 8 one-word fill-in sentences (mostly third-person -s forms from the text: gets, makes, waters, takes, loves, feeds, reads, plus the contrast they walk) with live green/red feedback and hints; Speaking is a false-statement correction pair game with five prompts and a five-line model dialogue between Nina and Omar; the Writing task mirrors the homework (write a false line, fix it, add one true line about the text) with frames, a four-step checklist, a live word counter (aim 15-30 words) and auto-save. An 8-question multiple-choice Sunshine Quiz with a progress bar, one-line explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence closes the lesson.
