🦁 Sunshine Club: On the Farm!
A fully interactive A1.1 Kids vocabulary lesson that opens the Animal World unit with pets and farm animals. The warm-up gets everyone moving and making sounds: meow like a cat, moo like a cow, hop like a rabbit, quack like a duck. The word focus presents the eight animals in two emoji word-row boxes — Pets at home (cat, dog, rabbit, fish) and Farm animals (cow, horse, sheep, duck) — each row pairing the word with its sound, plus an animal-sounds chip panel (meow, woof, moo, neigh, baa, quack) and a tiny pattern box for the chunk What is it? — It's a cat! Ten key words (the eight animals plus farm and pet) appear in a scrollable vocabulary table with 3-6 word kid-friendly definitions and short examples, and six return as review flashcards. The Story Corner tells A Day at the Farm in about 70 very simple words: Ela hears the cow, Tom sees the big horse, Omar meets the quacking duck and Nina shows her pet rabbit, with six hover-tooltip words and a word-cards chip row of six sight words for early literacy. Practice offers 8 one-word fill-in-the-blanks (cat, moo, duck, is, ears, is, sheep, water) with live green/red feedback, hints and a score bar. The speaking section plays the point-and-ask game with five short prompts and a six-line example dialogue between Nina and Omar, echoing the classroom sound games and Old MacDonald verses. The writing task turns the homework into three sentence frames (It's a ___, The ___ says ___, I like the ___) with a three-step baby checklist, a live word counter aiming for 10-20 words and auto-save. An 8-question multiple-choice quiz with ultra-simple options, one-sentence explanations, two story questions, a progress bar, a result circle and localStorage persistence completes the lesson.
