🌟 All About Me: A1 Review
The capstone lesson of the A1 Teens course. Instead of teaching one new structure, it gathers and reactivates everything students have learned across the year so they can talk and write about themselves with confidence. Students warm up with four 'can you...' reflection questions that preview the whole review. The main section replaces a single grammar focus with a four-card 'Big Review': introducing yourself (I'm..., I'm from..., I live in...), family and people (have got, possessive 's, adjectives), daily life and time (Present Simple, telling the time, weekend time words), and a summary table of likes (like + -ing), abilities (can / can't), clothes now (I'm wearing...), future jobs (want to be...) and linkers (and / but), closing with a chipped 'A1 toolkit'. Ten review words (introduce, age, country, family, hobby, favourite, routine, free time, friendly, live) appear in a horizontally-scrollable table with definitions and examples, and six get flashcards. The reading is a model 'All About Me' profile from a teenager called Nora that weaves together every target structure, with key words carrying hover-tooltip definitions, ending with an invitation for the student to write their own. Practice includes 8 mixed fill-in-the-blank questions drawn from across the whole course with live validation, hints, and a score tracker; an 'All About Me' speaking interview with five prompts, a model dialogue, and a peer-introduction task; the central writing task where students produce their own 60-90 word profile with a four-point checklist and live word counter saved to localStorage; and a final 8-question mixed quiz covering self-introduction, family, time, likes, ability, clothes, the weekend and linkers, with a progress bar, per-question explanations, a conic-gradient result circle, celebratory tiered feedback, and localStorage persistence.
